Our privacy policy will be updated as more information and guidance is made available about GDPR and CPRA. Currently, some cookies are still required for advertisements (e.g. for fraud prevention), and we don't currently have a way for the user to pay for access to the website without advertisements. We are looking into an easier way for the user to opt-out of the use of cookies, but for now you may either disable cookies via your browser, or avoid using the website.
We take privacy very seriously, and if you are reading this, you probably do as well. First of all, you should know that except for the trusted services that we use for hosting our site (vercel.com), managing our newsletter (MailChimp), processing payments (PayPal, Etsy), analysing traffic (Google Analytics), and filtering blog comment spam, no outside party will have access to your personal information unless you publish it yourself by adding it to a blog comment for example. We do not share personal information or email lists with third parties beyond those specifically named, and then only for the purposes required to perform the intended function (such as processing the payment, subscribing to the newsletter, or using the website). See below for more specifics.
Maayins Technologies owns and runs the website Maayins.com, so when we say "we", "us", or "our" we mean this site as well as the associates, employees, partners, and affiliates who help run this website and deliver the Content to you. If you have objections to this Privacy Policy, you should not access or use this site. On this page we will explain:
This section covers data practices specific to the NetXcel Google Workspace Add-on available on the Google Workspace Marketplace.
NetXcel is a Google Sheets add-on developed by Maayins Technologies that connects your Google Sheets spreadsheets to NetSuite ERP systems for real-time financial reporting, inventory analysis, demand planning, and business data management. The add-on operates within Google Sheets via a sidebar interface where users can authenticate with NetSuite, build and execute SuiteQL queries, and generate formatted reports directly in their spreadsheets.
The NetXcel Google Sheets add-on requires access to the following Google API scopes to function:
1. Spreadsheets Current Only Scope (auth/spreadsheets.currentonly) — See, edit, create, and delete this spreadsheet
This scope is required to read, write, and format data in the currently active Google Sheets spreadsheet when executing SuiteQL queries and generating reports from NetSuite. This includes writing financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow), inventory reports, transaction records, and other business data directly into your active spreadsheet. The add-on also reads existing spreadsheet data to determine cell positions and apply appropriate formatting. This scope only grants access to the spreadsheet the user currently has open — it does not provide access to any other spreadsheets in the user's Google Drive.
2. Container UI Scope (auth/script.container.ui) — Display and run third-party web content in prompts and sidebars inside Google applications
This scope is required to display the NetXcel sidebar panel within Google Sheets, where you can authenticate with your NetSuite account, configure data source connections, build and execute SuiteQL queries, select report templates, and manage your saved report configurations — all without leaving Google Sheets.
3. External Request Scope (auth/script.external_request) — Connect to an external service
This scope is required to allow the add-on to communicate with external services via UrlFetchApp. NetXcel uses this to connect to the Maayins Technologies API backend, which securely relays SuiteQL queries to your NetSuite account and returns the results to your spreadsheet.
4. User Email Scope (auth/userinfo.email) — See your primary Google Account email address
This scope is required to identify the currently signed-in user by their email address. NetXcel uses this to associate the user with their NetXcel account, verify subscription status, and ensure that the correct NetSuite connection settings are loaded for the authenticated user.
NetXcel uses your Google Sheets data solely to provide the core functionality of the add-on — connecting your spreadsheet to NetSuite for data retrieval and report generation. Specifically:
We implement the following security measures to protect data accessed through Google APIs:
Account Data: Account information (such as your email address, name, and subscription details) is retained for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide the NetXcel service.
Spreadsheet and ERP Data: We do not persistently store the contents of your Google Sheets or NetSuite business data on our servers. This data is processed in real-time during query execution and is not retained after the active session ends.
Configuration Data: Saved report templates, query configurations, and NetSuite connection settings are stored securely and encrypted at rest. This data is deleted when you delete your account.
Deletion Requests: You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at support@maayins.com. Upon receiving a verified deletion request, we will remove your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by applicable law.
We do not sell, rent, or trade any data obtained through Google APIs. Your Google Sheets data is transmitted directly to and from your NetSuite account as directed by you. We only share data with third parties in the following limited circumstances:
A) User-Directed Transfers: When you execute a query, your spreadsheet data is transmitted to NetSuite and results are returned to Google Sheets — both at your explicit direction.
B) Cloud Infrastructure: Our application backend is hosted on trusted cloud platforms (Vercel, Microsoft Azure) that maintain SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certifications. These providers process data only as necessary to provide hosting services.
C) Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
NetXcel's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:
This section covers data practices specific to the NetXcel Microsoft Office Add-in available on Microsoft AppSource.
NetXcel for Microsoft Excel is an Office Add-in that connects your Excel spreadsheets to NetSuite ERP systems for real-time financial reporting, inventory analysis, demand planning, and business data management. The add-in operates within Excel via a task pane interface where users can authenticate with NetSuite, build and execute SuiteQL queries, and generate formatted reports directly in their workbooks.
NetXcel for Excel accesses your spreadsheet data to provide the following functionality:
Authentication with NetSuite is handled via OAuth 2.0. Your NetSuite credentials are never stored by Maayins Technologies.
We implement the following security measures for data accessed through the Excel add-in:
Account Data: Account information is retained for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide the NetXcel service.
Spreadsheet and ERP Data: We do not persistently store the contents of your Excel workbooks or NetSuite business data. Data flows directly between Excel and NetSuite through our secure API connections during active sessions.
Configuration Data: Saved report templates, query configurations, and connection settings are stored securely and encrypted at rest. This data is deleted when you delete your account.
Deletion Requests: You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at support@maayins.com. We will remove your personal information within 30 days of a verified request, except where retention is required by law.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Your Excel data is transmitted directly to and from your NetSuite account as directed by you. We only share data with third parties in the following limited circumstances:
A) User-Directed Transfers: When you execute a query, your request is sent to NetSuite and results are returned to Excel — both at your explicit direction.
B) Cloud Infrastructure: Our application backend is hosted on Microsoft Azure and other trusted cloud platforms that maintain SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certifications.
C) Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
The following sections apply to all Maayins Technologies services, including the Maayins.com website, NetXcel products, and any other services we offer.
We take the security of your personal information and data very seriously. We implement industry-standard administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to protect your data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
All data transmitted between your browser, our servers, and third-party services (including Google APIs and NetSuite) is encrypted using TLS (Transport Layer Security) / SSL encryption. Data at rest in our systems is protected using AES-256 encryption or equivalent industry-standard encryption methods provided by our cloud infrastructure partners.
Access to user data is restricted through role-based access controls (RBAC). Authentication to third-party services is managed through OAuth 2.0 protocols, ensuring that user credentials are never directly stored by our applications. Only authorized personnel with a legitimate business need have access to user data, and all access is logged and monitored.
Our applications are hosted on trusted cloud platforms (including Vercel and Microsoft Azure) that maintain SOC 2, ISO 27001, and other industry-standard security certifications. We regularly review and update our security practices to address emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
In the unlikely event of a data breach, we will notify affected users and relevant authorities in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. We maintain an incident response plan to promptly address and mitigate any security incidents.
Our newsletters are opt-in and completely optional. Online visitors who choose to be on our mailing lists and/or receive periodic email announcements provide their name and email address. We use a confirmed opt-in subscription process to prevent a person from subscribing someone without their permission. Anyone who wishes to can choose to be removed from our mailing list at any time, by using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the newsletter(s), or contacting Maayins Technologies directly and asking to be removed.
We use MailChimp.com to manage and send newsletters. We do not share or sell our email lists and we do not store these lists outside of the MailChimp system.

A cookie is a small text file stored on your computer, but is not stored on our website. Cookies help to save your personal preferences from one visit to the next (such as remaining logged into a website), make advertising more relevant, prevent pop-ups from being displayed too often, etc. Learn more about cookies used by Google.

We measure visitors to our website using Google Analytics, a service that transmits website traffic data to Google servers in the United States. Google Analytics does not identify individual users or associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. We use reports provided by Google Analytics to help us understand website usage trends and to make improvements to our site.
Website traffic data includes information such as the number of times a link was clicked, IP addresses, browser types, access times, how people arrived at our site and so on. For example, if you find our site through a search engine, the logs will show that a visitor clicked through to our site from that search engine. General aggregate site statistics may be provided to potential advertisers and link partners (such as number of visitors per month from the US). These statistics cannot be used to identify an individual, since they do not include any personal information.
You can learn more about Google Analytics, or you may opt-out of using Google Analytics cookies by using the Google Analytics Opt-Out Add-on for your browser.
