Connecting Your HubSpot Account

NetXcel offers three ways to connect HubSpot: a Private App Token, a Service Key, or full OAuth 2.0 sign-in.

Private App Token

No per-user HubSpot license needed. In HubSpot: Settings, Integrations, Private Apps, Create Private App. Name it, select scopes (CRM, Contacts, etc.). On the Auth tab, copy the Access Token, it doesn't expire unless you rotate it. In NetXcel, add a HubSpot connection and paste in your Portal ID and Access Token.

Service Key (beta)

Account-level API key for system-to-system integration. In HubSpot: Settings, Integrations, Service Keys. Generate or copy your key. In NetXcel, enter your Portal ID and Service Key.

OAuth 2.0 (Public App)

For licensed HubSpot users, via a public app. In the HubSpot Developer Portal: create a Public App, set its redirect URL to NetXcel, copy the Client ID and Secret. In NetXcel, enter your Portal ID, Client ID, and Secret. A browser window opens to authorize.

Once connected, HubSpot behaves like any other connection in NetXcel for running searches and reports into Excel.
